Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data MyRecruiterBee handles, where it comes from, how we use it, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.

The short version: we use your information to help you run your job search. We never sell it. Nothing is sent to an employer or anyone else unless you approve it. You can download or delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

MyRecruiterBee is a trading name of R8 LMS PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore with UEN 202216042E, whose registered address is 11 Collyer Quay, #17-00 The Arcade, Singapore 049317 ("the Company", "we", "us" or "our").

The Company is responsible for your personal data under this policy. In legal terms, we are the data controller.

Our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at support@myrecruiterbee.com. Please put "Data Protection" in the subject line.

This policy applies to the MyRecruiterBee website, web app and the alerts we send by email (together, the "Service"). Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information you give us

Account details: your name, email address and mobile number, and the country of your number.
Career information: your CV, LinkedIn profile link, work history, qualifications, achievements, skills, the types of role you want and your preferred locations.
Content you create: your digital profile, photos, video messages, and the messages and comments you write or approve in the Service.
Contact preferences: your choices about marketing emails.
Payment information: your billing details and subscription history. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Support messages: anything you send us when you ask for help.

3. Information we collect automatically

When you use the Service, we collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, log-in times, the pages and features you use, and error reports. We use this to keep the Service secure, fix problems and understand which features are useful.

We also keep a record of when you accepted our Terms and Conditions and which version you accepted.

4. Information about other people

To help you approach employers directly, the Service handles some information about people who are not MyRecruiterBee users. These are mainly hiring managers and other business decision-makers. This information includes:

names, job titles, employers and work locations;
professional profile information and public posts, for example on LinkedIn; and
business contact details, such as work email addresses and phone numbers.

We obtain this information from publicly available professional sources, such as company websites and public profiles, and from contact-finding tools and data providers that we use to run the Service.

We use this information only to help our users make genuine, professional approaches about their own careers. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests, and our users' interests, in connecting job seekers with employers. Our Terms and Conditions forbid users from selling, sharing or misusing it.

If you are a decision-maker and do not want us to process your information, email support@myrecruiterbee.com with the subject "Remove me". We will delete your details from the Service and keep a minimal record of your request so that your details are not added again.

5. Vacancy information

The Service shows job vacancies collected from employers' websites, job boards and other third-party sources. Vacancy listings may include the name and contact details of the person responsible for the role. We use this information only to show relevant vacancies to our users.

6. How we use your information

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

To provide the Service: to create your account, analyse your CV and profile, build your digital profile, suggest decision-makers, draft messages and comments for you to review, send you vacancy alerts, and send the items you approve. We rely on our contract with you.
To take payment: to manage your subscription and billing. We rely on our contract with you.
To keep the Service safe: to protect accounts, prevent fraud and misuse, and enforce our Terms. We rely on our legitimate interests.
To improve the Service: to understand how features are used and fix problems. Where we can, we use information that does not identify you. We rely on our legitimate interests.
To send you marketing: news, tips and offers about MyRecruiterBee and our other products. We only do this with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
To meet legal duties: for example tax and accounting records, or responding to lawful requests from authorities. We rely on our legal obligations.

7. How we use AI

MyRecruiterBee uses artificial intelligence to analyse your CV and profile, find relevant employers and decision-makers, and draft profiles, messages and comments. We use AI models provided by trusted technology companies, which process your data on our behalf to provide the Service.

AI suggestions are there to help you. You review and approve everything before it is sent. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Who we share information with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only in these situations:

When you approve it: when you approve a message, profile, video or comment, it is sent to the people you chose, through the channel you chose.
Service providers: companies that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, contact-finding tools and customer support tools. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
Our group: other companies under common ownership with R8 LMS PTE. LTD. that help us operate and support the Service, under the same protections described in this policy.
Legal reasons: where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the Company or others.
Business changes: if our business is sold, merged or restructured, your data may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to protect it in line with this policy.

9. International transfers

We are based in Singapore and serve users around the world. Your data may be stored and processed in countries other than the one where you live, including by our service providers. When we transfer data abroad, we take steps to make sure it receives a similar level of protection to the protection required in your country, for example through contracts with our providers.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open.
If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days.
We keep some records for longer where the law requires it, such as payment and tax records.
Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle, so deleted data may remain in a secure backup for a short time before it is removed.

11. Security

Security is built into how MyRecruiterBee works:

Encryption: your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Limited access: only people who need access to run and support the Service can see your data, and that access is logged.
You stay in control: nothing is sent, posted or connected on your behalf without your approval.
Separation: your account is kept separate from other users' accounts.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:

to access the personal data we hold about you;
to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
to delete your data or close your account;
to download your data in a commonly used format;
to object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your data;
to withdraw your consent at any time, for example to marketing emails; and
to complain to a data protection authority.

You can manage most of your data in your account settings. For anything else, email support@myrecruiterbee.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

13. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service running securely. The Service cannot work without them.

If we use any other cookies, such as for analytics or advertising, we will tell you and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. You can change your choice at any time.

14. Minimum age

MyRecruiterBee is for adults. You must be at least 18, or older if the law where you live requires it, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the minimum age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will email you before they take effect. The version number and effective date at the top show when it was last changed.
